I must say,
If it carries on much longer,
I'll probably end up
A cynical old maid-
A horrifying thought
For one who believes in
The constitution of marriage.
Or then again...

But would you really
Wish to marry someone
Who you have no feelings for
Whatsoever?
Could you truly then
Do your duties
As a good wife?
Could you truly then
Bear to carry his child?

But hush now!
Such thoughts
Should not be entertained
At so tender an age.
And yet..
And yet they do creep into my mind.
